Job Overview
Stripe is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect, Data to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales and pre-sales teams to drive pipeline and revenue targets, while educating product and engineering teams on market trends. You will develop deep relationships with senior customer business leaders and grow Stripe’s solution offerings.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Stripe’s Data products (data pipelines, revenue reporting, analytics tooling).
- Demonstrate understanding of data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Databricks.
- Conduct deep discovery of customers’ data architecture and reporting stacks.
- Advise customers on multi-entity and multi-currency reporting, BI tools integration, and data latency.
- Create best practices, reference architectures, and reusable assets for the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on Stripe’s Data products to accelerate opportunities.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT patterns (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
- Conduct discovery of customers’ existing data architecture and reporting stack.
- Advise customers on complex reporting architectures and BI tool integrations.
- Create reference architectures and reusable assets for pre-sales teams.
- Serve as a Voice of the Customer to drive product roadmap prioritization.
- Represent technical health on quarterly sales forecast calls.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions architecture focusing on data platforms or analytics.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with data warehousing and pipeline architecture (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
- Strong understanding of payments and revenue data mapping.
- Experience with BI/analytics platforms (Looker, Tableau, Sigma, Metabase).
- Strong knowledge of software engineering and API integration patterns.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
