We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our BizTech organization. This pivotal role involves supporting our Oracle EPM Planning systems and processes, with a significant focus on integrating AI automation and AI agent capabilities into our finance workflows. You will be instrumental in transforming how Finance operates, combining deep technical expertise in financial planning and forecasting with hands-on experience in building AI-driven solutions. Your contributions will directly impact financial forecast modeling, system and process transformation, data integration, and the development of scalable, AI-enabled solutions within Oracle EPM.

A Typical Day in This Role:

• Technical Support & System Administration:
• Support the design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle EPM Planning modules (including Financials, Workforce, Capital, Cash Forecast, and Long Range Planning).
• Develop, test, and maintain complex business rules and calculation scripts.
• Leverage Groovy Scripting for advanced data manipulation and forecast modeling.
• Assist in managing data integration processes with AWS data warehouse, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Workday using tools like Data Management and EPM Automate.
• Participate in the monthly Oracle patch cycle, including regression testing and impact analysis of new features.
• FP&A Functional Support:
• Partner closely with FP&A teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automating manual offline models and enhancing data integration to reduce forecast cycle times and improve accuracy.
• Build and maintain reports using EPM Reports; provide support to finance users utilizing Smart View for ad-hoc analysis and template creation.
• Offer prompt user support during the monthly forecast cycle, resolving issues and engaging Oracle support when necessary.
• AI Automation & Agent Development:
• Design, build, test, and deploy sophisticated AI agents and automated workflows to streamline FP&A processes, utilizing both native EPM AI capabilities and external AI/automation tooling.
• Proactively identify manual, repetitive finance and systems processes ripe for AI automation to significantly reduce cycle time and manual effort.
• Collaborate effectively with Finance and Tech partners to prioritize AI automation opportunities and deliver AI-generated forecasts, analyses, and actionable insights.

Your Expertise and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion/EPM, with at least 2 years specifically in EPM Cloud.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting core finance functions (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax), demonstrating solid financial statement literacy.
• Proven hands-on experience in building AI automation and AI agents (e.g., agentic workflows, LLM-based automation using tools like Claude, Gemini, GPT – not limited to EPM’s built-in AI).
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, pipeline troubleshooting, and performing ad-hoc analysis against warehouse tables.
• Experience supporting integrations between Oracle EPM and ERP systems, preferably via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or equivalent middleware.
• Experience operating data orchestration and ETL/ELT pipelines, including monitoring workflow health, managing failed tasks, reviewing execution logs, and coordinating incident response.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional stakeholders and clearly document technical processes for non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions within or outside of EPM Planning, and to recommend optimal options for decision-making.
