Job Overview
- Lead our global Engineering organization, including geographically distributed teams and engineering leaders across the US and Europe.
- Serve as a member of the Executive Team, helping shape company strategy and representing Engineering in executive and Board-level discussions.
- Partner closely with Product Management and company leadership to define our technology vision and roadmap, balancing innovation with the continued growth and evolution of our existing products.
- Lead the Engineering Leadership Team in setting clear priorities and annual goals aligned with broader company objectives.
- Stay close to our core 3D technology and play an active role in technical direction, architecture, and our most challenging engineering problems.
- Set high standards for engineering quality, reliability, execution, and delivery across our global teams.
- Champion the thoughtful adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve engineering velocity, quality, and developer experience.
- Explore opportunities to bring AI/ML capabilities into our products, partnering with Product Management to turn promising ideas into meaningful customer value.
- Build a strong, collaborative Engineering leadership team and create an environment where leaders and engineers can do their best work.
- Develop and grow our engineering talent through coaching, feedback, career development, succession planning, and thoughtful hiring.
- Own Engineering budgets and staffing, balancing investment, business priorities, and long-term organizational needs.
- Lead the Engineering side of M&A diligence and integration when opportunities arise, including evaluating technology and engineering teams.
- Keep an eye on emerging technologies and industry shifts and help us determine which ones matter—and which ones don’t.
