Job Overview

About Stripe:
Stripe is a leading financial infrastructure platform that empowers millions of businesses worldwide, from the largest enterprises to ambitious startups, to accept payments, enhance revenue, and seize new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, presenting an unparalleled chance to shape the global economy and undertake career-defining work.

About the Team:
The Worldwide Alliances and Channels team is dedicated to cultivating and managing a global network of partners. These partners provide industry-leading payments and financial infrastructure solutions and services, enabling Stripe to unlock market potential and accelerate user growth across all business segments, from startups to enterprise clients.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Partner Development Manager (PDM) to join the Americas Alliances & Channels team. This is a critical role focused on partner relationships and revenue generation, reporting directly to the Americas Alliances & Channels leadership. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong relationships with executives and sales teams within both Stripe and our partner organizations. Your responsibilities will include securing new business, negotiating and closing strategic partnerships, and accelerating Stripe’s business growth across the region by collaborating with systems integrators, consulting firms, and development agencies. Furthermore, you will execute Stripe’s global partner programs, including marketing, enablement, and co-selling initiatives, ensuring high levels of partner participation and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate deep, strategic relationships across sales, marketing, and partner leadership teams within partner organizations and internally at Stripe.
  • Develop and implement revenue-generating joint go-to-market (GTM) plans for assigned partners. This includes orchestrating joint activities such as events and webinars, enabling partner account executives, and driving co-selling strategies.
  • Execute Stripe’s partner strategy with assigned partners, ensuring alignment with regional business objectives and the overarching global partner strategy.
  • Act as a strong advocate for partners within Stripe, proactively identifying opportunities for partnership expansion and mutual growth.
  • Provide clear, concise, and data-driven weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to key stakeholders, highlighting performance metrics and strategic insights.
  • Collaborate effectively with program, marketing, and sales teams to execute partner programs, events, and sales engagement initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive playbooks and collateral to equip partners with the necessary tools and knowledge to sell Stripe solutions effectively.

Who You Are:
We are looking for individuals who meet the minimum requirements. If you possess these qualifications, we encourage you to apply. Preferred qualifications are considered a bonus.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in partnerships or sales, preferably within the technology, financial services, or a similarly complex B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in owning and growing strategic partnerships that have resulted in measurable commercial outcomes, such as sourced pipeline, closed revenue, partner-engaged revenue, partner-sourced opportunities, or joint GTM activities.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute joint GTM plans in collaboration with external partners and internal sales, marketing, and program stakeholders.
  • Experience in negotiating commercial agreements and effectively influencing senior executive stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for partner meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree.
  • Prior experience in the payments, financial infrastructure, or financial services industry.
  • Experience working with systems integrators, consulting firms, development agencies, or other ecosystem partners.
  • Experience in building partner enablement programs, co-selling motions, organizing events, creating playbooks, or developing sales collateral.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics to assess partner performance, identify growth opportunities, and communicate results effectively to senior leadership.
  • Strong business judgment, robust analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing business outcomes.

Working Remotely at Stripe:
A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from any of our physical offices. While you are welcome to utilize office spaces for team meetings, business events, or meet-ups, the expectation is that you will primarily work from home. Stripe does not cover relocation costs to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that align with your current or intended place of residence.

Pay and Benefits:
The annual US base salary range for this role is $153,000 – $229,400. For sales roles, this range represents the On Target Earnings (OTE), encompassing target sales commissions/bonuses and the annual base salary. This salary range may accommodate various career levels at Stripe and will be refined during the interview process based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants outside the US may inquire about the annual salary range for their specific location during the interview process.
Additional benefits may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.

We eagerly await your application.
