Partner Marketing Manager, Online & Regional Events
Job Overview
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform designed for businesses worldwide. Millions of companies, ranging from global enterprises to burgeoning startups, rely on Stripe to manage payments, enhance revenue streams, and unlock new business opportunities. Our core mission is to boost the GDP of the internet, presenting a vast landscape of challenges and opportunities. This role offers a unique chance to contribute significantly to the global economy while undertaking some of the most impactful work of your career.
About the Team
The Global Partner Marketing team at Stripe is dedicated to driving growth through the development and scaling of go-to-market programs in collaboration with Stripe’s most crucial channel, technology, and alliance partners. By working closely with Sales, Product, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, this team establishes the foundational infrastructure, enablement resources, and co-marketing initiatives that extend Stripe’s influence throughout the partner ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
As the Online & Regional Events Program Manager, your primary responsibility will be to establish the operational framework for Partner Marketing’s diverse portfolio of online and in-person events. You will translate strategic priorities into scalable, repeatable programs, develop comprehensive capacity and investment plans, and ensure these initiatives yield measurable business outcomes. Collaborating intimately with Marketing Operations, regional and global marketing teams, and external agency partners, you will refine the processes for event selection, planning, execution, and evaluation. Your efforts will be crucial in scaling the team’s impact while making judicious trade-offs regarding resources, timelines, and budget.
Responsibilities
- Build and Scale Event Motions: Develop and implement repeatable event strategies across Partner Marketing’s online and in-person event portfolio. This includes partner-led pre-sales and post-sales workshops, partner enablement sessions, and co-sell events. Partner with Marketing Operations to leverage existing infrastructure and processes, thereby improving overall program efficiency and consistency.
- Own Measurement and Analytics: Take charge of the measurement and analytical framework for all partner events. Identify and quantify high-value opportunities, establish clear criteria for event selection and performance benchmarks, and rigorously assess results against defined business objectives. Diagnose the root causes of any underperformance and propose data-backed recommendations for enhancing impact, efficiency, and return on investment (ROI).
- Develop Capacity Models and Calendars: Create and maintain a robust capacity model and an integrated editorial calendar for Partner Marketing events. Translate high-level priorities and available resources into a clear, actionable execution plan. Identify potential capacity constraints and necessary trade-offs, providing strategic recommendations on where the team should invest, defer, or scale its efforts.
- Manage Event Budget and Forecasting: Oversee the Partner Marketing events budget and the associated forecasting process. Diligently track commitments and actual spend, identify potential financial risks early on, and maintain a high degree of forecast accuracy (aiming for within 1% accuracy).
- Integrate with Global Marketing Efforts: Ensure Partner Marketing-led events are seamlessly integrated into the broader regional and global marketing calendars. Coordinate effectively with regional, field, partner, and global marketing teams to align timing, target audiences, messaging, and resource allocation. Identify potential conflicts or gaps and propose solutions that maximize collective impact.
- Develop Shared-Services Model: Design and launch a shared-services model specifically for Partner Marketing events. Clearly define the service offering, operating model, intake process, roles and responsibilities, and key success measures. Support the selection and onboarding of a global agency partner, and drive adoption of this service across the entire Partner Marketing organization.
- Manage Agency Performance: Oversee agency performance and service quality by establishing clear briefs, milestones, service-level agreements (SLAs), and escalation paths. Continuously monitor delivery against agreed-upon standards and recommend process or resourcing improvements when performance falls short of expectations.
Who You Are
We are seeking an analytical and highly organized program manager capable of independently leading complex, cross-functional event programs from the initial planning stages through to final measurement. You should be comfortable operating amidst ambiguity, managing multiple workstreams concurrently, and leveraging data to identify opportunities, anticipate risks, and drive improvements. Building trusted relationships across teams, communicating with clarity, and balancing meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on business impact are essential qualities.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in B2B event marketing, partner marketing, field marketing, or marketing program management, encompassing both online and in-person programs.
- Proven experience in independently managing complex, cross-functional programs, including the definition of timelines, deliverables, dependencies, roles, and success measures.
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in establishing performance benchmarks, evaluating program impact and ROI, diagnosing underperformance, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience managing program budgets and forecasts, including tracking commitments and actual spend, and identifying financial risks early.
- Demonstrated ability to build repeatable processes, capacity plans, calendars, or operating models that enhance efficiency and execution across multiple programs.
- Experience managing agencies or vendors, including developing briefs, setting expectations and milestones, monitoring performance, and resolving delivery issues effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to align stakeholders across different regions, functions, and organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing events or programs specifically for technology, channel, alliance, or ecosystem partners.
- Experience in building or operating a shared-services model that spans multiple teams or regions.
- Experience supporting global and regional marketing calendars and coordinating programs across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions.
- Familiarity with marketing operations, pipeline measurement, event attribution, and CRM or marketing-automation systems.
Hybrid Work at Stripe
This role is designed to be flexible, available either in a Stripe office location or a remote location (defined as being 35+ miles or 56+ km from any Stripe office). In-office expectations require office-assigned employees to spend at least 50% of their time in a given month collaborating in their local office or engaging with users. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration and learning with the flexibility needed for individual and team effectiveness. Remote employees are welcome to visit the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, but the expectation is regular work from home. Stripe does not cover relocation costs for remote work arrangements. We encourage candidates to apply for roles that align with their current or planned living location.
Pay and Benefits
The annual US base salary range for this position is $143,400 to $215,200. For sales-related roles, this range represents the On-Target Earnings (OTE), encompassing both target sales commissions/bonuses and the annual base salary. This salary range may accommodate various career levels within Stripe and will be refined during the interview process based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants outside the US may inquire about the applicable annual salary range for their location during the interview process. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, a 401(k) plan, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
We are eager to hear from you. At Stripe, we seek individuals with passion, grit, and integrity. We strongly encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every detail of the job description. Your unique skills and passion will be evident, especially if your career path has included unconventional experiences. Stripe values diverse perspectives and welcomes individuals who think rigorously and are not afraid to challenge established assumptions. Join us in building the future of internet commerce.
