Job Description: Data Entry Specialist at PayCruit

PayCruit is seeking a diligent and physically capable Data Entry Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This role is primarily seated but involves significant physical activity related to handling document cartons. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage both data input and physical tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform intensive and constant keying of information into the data system.
  • Retrieve document cartons from storage and transport them to the computer workstation.
  • Identify required data fields within each document file.
  • Enter extracted data accurately into the database for clients.
  • Return files to their respective boxes and then return the boxes to the pallet.
  • Maintain a high frequency of keystrokes (10,000 kph) with 100% accuracy, confirmed by double-key verification.
  • Carry cartons weighing between 30-50 lbs for distances up to 20 feet, approximately every 5-7 minutes.
  • Lift and lower cartons from/to pallets and workstations, with lift heights ranging from 13 to 45 inches, on the same frequency.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately to meet performance standards.

Work Schedule and Environment:

  • Normal Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 9 hours a day.
  • This schedule includes a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.
  • The majority of the work (95%) is performed from a seated position.
  • The remaining 5% involves physical movement of document cartons.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to carry cartons weighing 30-50 lbs.
  • Ability to lift and lower cartons from heights ranging from 13 to 45 inches.
  • Ability to transport cartons up to 20 feet.
  • Must wear protective footwear that meets ASTM F2413-11 standards and has a slip-resistant rating of “Better or Best”.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to maintain a high frequency of keystrokes (10,000 kph) with 100% accuracy.
  • Experience in data entry or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as described in the job description.
