Preparation Strategy
To prepare effectively for the POWERGRID Non-Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026, candidates should focus on understanding the exam pattern and syllabus for each post. The selection process primarily involves a Written Test/Computer Based Test (CBT) carrying 100% weightage, followed by qualifying Skill/Trade Tests. Therefore, thorough preparation for the CBT is crucial. Candidates should revise fundamental concepts related to their specific discipline (Electrical, Civil, Survey for Diploma Trainee; HR/F&A for Junior Officer Trainee; Surveyor for Junior Technician Trainee). For HR and F&A roles, knowledge of relevant graduate-level subjects and professional certifications like Inter CA/CMA is essential. The ITI qualification for the Surveyor post requires specific trade knowledge. Practice mock tests and previous year papers to get familiar with the question types, difficulty level, and time management. Pay close attention to the eligibility criteria, especially the minimum percentage of marks required for different categories. Ensure all required documents are ready for upload during the application process. Staying updated with POWERGRID’s official website for any changes or further announcements is also recommended.
