Job Description: Game Developer at KFM

KFM is seeking a talented and experienced Game Developer to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining engaging game websites and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain game websites and mobile applications: Create and update online platforms and mobile applications related to KFM’s gaming products.
• Build interactive game features: Design and implement core game functionalities such as scoring systems, timers, team management, round progression, leaderboards, and user account management.
• Translate game concepts into digital products: Work closely with design and product teams to convert game ideas, rules, and designs into fully functional digital experiences.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces: Create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces that align with approved UI/UX designs, ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices.
• Build and manage back-end systems: Develop and maintain server-side logic, databases, APIs, and administrative panels as required to support game features and operations.
• Test, debug, and optimize games: Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and stability of the games and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work effectively with creative, design, content, and project management teams to understand game requirements and deliver high-quality products.
• Support ongoing development: Contribute to updates, improvements, bug fixes, and the development of new features for existing games and applications.
• Maintain technical documentation: Create and update clear and comprehensive technical documentation for game systems and development processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in game development, web development, mobile app development, or a similar technical role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background in website and mobile application development. Experience with both front-end and back-end development is essential.
• Game Development Knowledge: Understanding of game logic, interactive features, user flows, and digital game mechanics.
• System Management: Ability to work with databases, APIs, authentication systems, and admin/content management features.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to test, troubleshoot, and improve product performance.
• Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio: Previous experience or a portfolio showcasing games, apps, websites, or interactive digital projects is preferred.
