Accelerec Ltd., in partnership with AzarHRS, is seeking a motivated and capable Mendix Developer to join their expanding technology team in Manama, Bahrain. This mid-level position offers a significant opportunity to take ownership of building and maintaining business applications on the Mendix low-code platform. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and senior developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions that drive business value. You will be instrumental in translating business requirements into functional and efficient Mendix applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Mendix applications that align with specified business requirements.
• Construct robust microflows, nanoflows, pages, and domain models according to functional specifications.
• Integrate Mendix applications seamlessly with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and other third-party services.
• Develop reusable modules and components to enhance development efficiency and maintainability across projects.
• Actively participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to a collaborative development process.
• Perform thorough unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of the codebase.
• Document technical designs comprehensively and maintain up-to-date application documentation for future reference and support.
• Collaborate effectively with QA teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide support during go-live activities.
• Offer post-deployment support, promptly resolving production issues to ensure application stability and user satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Essential:
• A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Mendix development.
• Possession of Mendix Intermediate Developer certification, or be actively pursuing it.
• Proficiency in Mendix Studio Pro, including the development of microflows, nanoflows, and custom widgets.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating Mendix applications with REST/SOAP APIs and external databases.
• A solid understanding of relational databases, XPath queries, and OQL.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Mendix Team Server.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred:
• Mendix Advanced Developer certification.
• Previous experience working within the GCC / Middle East region.
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum project delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or DevOps pipelines.
