- System Review & Risk Assessment: Evaluate current accounting workflows to identify potential risks and implement robust internal controls.
- Entity Management: Take full ownership of the accounting cycle, compliance requirements, and audit coordination for designated smaller legal entities.
- Financial Analysis: Partner with the broader Finance team to provide accurate financial data, variance analysis, and strategic reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local financial regulations and coordinate with legal experts and government ministries to ensure full compliance.
- Account Reconciliation: Conduct systematic ledger scrutiny and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities
- Review current systems, assess risks and controls related to processes, and support in designing appropriate internal controls to protect company assets.
- Handle independently the accounting, compliance, and audit of smaller legal entities.
- Coordinate and support the Finance team with accurate financial information and analysis.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and coordinate with the Legal team and Ministry on compliance with local laws.
- Perform detailed ledger scrutiny and ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must have graduated with a degree in Accounting or Commerce and display excellent relevant accounting knowledge.
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional experience in the accounting domain, preferably in a multinational corporate environment.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel) with hands-on knowledge of ERP systems.
- Strong team orientation with the ability to collaborate across diverse departments.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageous.
