Job Overview

Job Purpose

The role is mainly responsible for analyzing, validating and managing the daily needs of Tasjeel projects along with business continuity and expansion plans. The role is also responsible for reviewing management reports, budget and performance reviews to ensure output alignment with Tasjeel mission and objectives. In addition to the above, managing and advising on the daily activities handled by the team reporting to the role pertaining to sites revenue reconciliation, partner payments, RTA E-wallet transactions, Citi bank credit facility for credit customers, site procurements, payments and document controlling.

Principal Accountabilities

Business Planning & Budgeting:

  • Prepare annual / monthly operating budgets for Tasjeel in liaison with Tasjeel General Manager.
  • Analyze and review the budgets regularly, to identify performance gaps in order to facilitate plans to overcome any internal/external challenges and to ensure that the budgets are as realistic as possible. This ongoing process is critical to accommodate changes introduced by regulatory bodies and to align interests of the relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare operating expenses (Opex) budget for Tasjeel and establish necessary budget controls by regular monitoring and cost control in coordination with the operations, to ensure that the expenses are within the budget and variations if any are appropriately approved.
  • Develop list of capital expenditure forecasts for the upcoming 5 years for all new projects and services to be introduced at Tasjeel sites for ENOC management approval.
  • Develop yearly manpower requirements forecast for all Tasjeel sites, prioritizing ENOC Group’s Emiratization initiative, in conjunction with the operations and technical departments, by analyzing the Business requirements and prepare justification for the same, and obtain necessary approval as per DOA.
  • Support Tasjeel General Manager in preparing financial analysis and associated justifications / feasibility studies for Tasjeel projects, incorporating the wide possibilities of the market of our existence and the challenges we face.
  • Prepare 5 years business plan assumption for key business drivers as directed by the General Manager and revisiting/ revising them based on the prevalent market conditions or changes in circumstances.

Business Development:

  • Review and prepare ERs (Expenditure Request) and related justifications, along with Financial/ Operational studies for all new Tasjeel projects/ sites and obtain approvals from Retail/ ENOC management.
  • Coordinate with the Technical team for project cost exhibits to prepare Expenditure Request.
  • Review and analyse the revenue of all new projects and services against the estimate / budgets, highlight areas of improvements required and support GM to initiate revenue enhancements and cost control initiatives to enhance the profitability for ongoing sites.
  • Coordinate Financial and Operational performance of Tasjeel Sites – prepare monthly Financial and Operating KPI presentations by incorporating relevant and accurate financial data and conduct review meetings with site managers and operations team to ensure that the Tasjeel sites achieve their monthly revenue targets.
  • Supports Tasjeel operations in the implementation of new business initiatives in the existing sites.
  • Devise Business presentations for potential business partners – internal/external.
  • Devise necessary financial presentations/documents as required by Tasjeel operations department & management.

Monitoring and Management Reporting

  • Review & advise Tasjeel Financial performance and communicate monthly Sales, OPEX and Net Profit reports to Tasjeel Management team and initiate action plan for area of improvement identified.
  • Maintain Tasjeel score card and update it on a quarterly basis. Monitor and ensure quarterly KPI targets are achieved and follow up on steps initiated to achieve desired action plan.
  • Co-ordinate with other departments for Tasjeel related KPI’s on the quarterly score update.
  • Manage Tasjeel E-wallet reconciliation and top-up process and ensure balance availability and reconciliation.
  • Manage and review daily & monthly partner payments – ensure reconciliation payable/receivables in line with the agreement terms.
  • Manage monthly VAT reconciliation process for partners invoices.
  • Manage sales revenue reconciliation for all services between Tasjeel Plus and C-pay system.
