As a Consultant, Assistant Manager, or Manager in the Audit & Risk Advisory team, you will play a pivotal role in executing risk-based internal audits. You will work closely with global clients, helping them identify process gaps, design robust control frameworks, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
Key areas of focus for this role include Asset and Wealth Management (AWM), Global Markets (GM), Treasury Audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. You will be responsible for conducting process walkthroughs, drafting Risk Control Matrices (RCM), and performing Test of Operating Effectiveness (TOE). Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based internal audits across varied functions and Banking Lines of Business (LOB) including Asset and Wealth Management (AWM), PWM, Global Market (GM), and capital markets.
- Undertake process walkthroughs and prepare comprehensive Risk Control Matrices (RCM) for audit execution.
- Assess internal controls, identify process gaps, and suggest effective improvements or agreed management action plans.
- Document process walkthroughs, RCMs, testing procedures, and audit observations with high precision.
- Support and lead audits such as Credit Risk and Trade Management (including trade confirmation, trade reconciliation, and EOD controls).
- Interact with global stakeholders to discuss potential observations and risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports featuring clear findings and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process enhancement.
- Evaluate trading desk operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and stakeholder management skills in client-facing roles.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Sound understanding of Global Market and capital market products such as equities, futures, options, and swaps.
- Strong understanding of various lines of business within global banking and the complete trade lifecycle.
- Robust domain knowledge of securities-related regulations, particularly those related to PRA.
- Ability to perform and interpret complex process gap analyses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation capabilities.
- Clear understanding of control rationalization, optimization, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Hands-on experience in Data Analytics, Tableau, and Data Visualization tools.
- Comfortable managing multiple engagements across diverse business functions.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.
