Key Responsibilities
- Lead the problem-solving and analytical processes for complex workstreams, generating effective hypotheses and finding solutions to barriers.
- Effectively lead and coach junior analysts through the analytical process and model design/construction, including Excel models.
- Lead multiple analysts to produce high-quality deliverables and presentations, ensuring effective production processes and quality control.
- Build strong rapport with clients, communicating effectively and understanding their strategic needs.
- Support the maintenance and growth of the existing client network.
- Anticipate potential roadblocks in problem-solving and propose proactive solutions.
- Develop comprehensive proposals for full client engagements.
- Handle formal communication at all levels internally and externally.
- Create and design visual communications and storylines using slides to support clients’ decision-making processes.
- Act as a champion of inclusion and diversity within the team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience relevant to the advisory or consulting role.
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or an equivalent discipline.
- Proven experience working on projects within the mining & metals, energy, or infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing advanced research and analysis tools.
- Strong data analytics skills, including business requirements gathering and translating them into technical solutions.
- Proven financial modeling experience is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to a broad range of project types and responsibilities.
- Excellent collaborative skills and a track record of contributing effectively to multidisciplinary teams.
