State Bank of India Probationary Officer Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 1500 Vacancies

• Scanned copy of recent passport-size photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm, 20–50 KB, JPG/JPEG format).
• Scanned copy of signature (140×60 pixels, 10–20 KB, JPG/JPEG format, not in capital letters).
• Scanned copy of left-hand thumb impression (3cm x 3cm, 20–50 KB, JPG/JPEG format).
• Scanned copy of hand-written declaration (10cm x 5cm, 50–100 KB, JPG/JPEG format).
• Valid Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter’s ID, etc.).
• Graduation Marksheets and Degree Certificate.

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government as on September 30, 2026.
• Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before September 30, 2026.
• Candidates possessing professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy (CA), Cost Accountancy, Engineering, Medical, etc., are also eligible.

Phase I: Preliminary Examination

• An online objective test of 100 marks consisting of three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.
• The duration of the exam is 1 hour with separate sectional timings of 20 minutes each.
• There are no sectional cut-offs, but candidates must score high enough to be shortlisted for the Mains exam (approx. 10 times the number of vacancies).

Phase II: Main Examination

• Consists of an Objective Test of 200 marks (3 hours) and a Descriptive Test of 30 marks (30 minutes) administered immediately after.
• The Objective Test covers Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language.
• The Descriptive Test involves Letter Writing and Essay/Situation Analysis typed directly on the computer.
• Penalty of 1/4th mark applies for each wrong answer in objective tests.

Phase III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercise & Interview

• Shortlisted candidates (approx. 3 times the vacancies) undergo a Psychometric Test for personality profiling.
• This is followed by a Group Exercise (20 marks) and a Personal Interview (30 marks), totaling 50 marks.
• The final merit list is prepared by normalizing Phase II and Phase III marks in a 75:25 ratio.

6. Upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration as per the specified dimensions.
7. Capture a live photograph using your webcam or mobile camera as mandated by the system.
8. Review all the entered information thoroughly before final submission, as no modifications are allowed post-submission.
9. Pay the application fee of Rs. 750 (if applicable) using online payment modes like Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
10. Download and print the final submitted application form and fee payment e-receipt for future reference.
