Selection & Exam Process
Phase I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Weightage: 85 Marks.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for General/EWS/OBC, and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio per category based on CBT scores.
Phase II: Personal Interview
- Weightage: 15 Marks.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (9 out of 15 marks) for General/EWS/OBC, and 40% (6 out of 15 marks) for SC/ST/PwBD.
- A Group Discussion may also be conducted, which is non-qualifying in nature.
Phase III: Medical Fitness
- Candidates must meet the medical standards as per ONGC Medical Examination of Employees Rules.
- Complete or partial colour blindness and night blindness are not acceptable.
