Key Role Description & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Backend Team Lead, you will contribute directly to modern fintech solutions using Microsoft technologies. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Quality Assurance Engineers, and senior developers to engineer robust solutions powering digital payment infrastructure across Oman and the GCC region.
- Write clean, secure, testable, and maintainable C# code adhering to high engineering standards.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure .NET Core RESTful APIs.
- Build reliable database structures using MS SQL Server and ORMs such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs via REST and SOAP using secure authentication methods like JWT.
- Participate actively across all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Diagnose and resolve software issues across development, UAT, and production environments.
- Adhere to security guidelines such as OWASP Top 10 suitable for high-security fintech platforms.
- Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and maintain high code standard output.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
- 1+ years of proven hands-on backend development experience in .NET Core / C#.
- Solid understanding of ASP.NET Core Web API, SOLID design principles, and REST architecture.
- Fundamental understanding of MS SQL Server database design and ORM tools.
- Familiarity with web application security standards (OWASP) and token authorization.
