This remote position is crucial for maintaining accurate patient, provider, and facility records within the Salesforce Health Cloud system. The role involves processing a high volume of inbound data from various sources, including faxes, emails, and web forms, ensuring all information is entered correctly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include updating patient and provider accounts, verifying patient identities using HIPAA-compliant methods, and creating or updating Clinical Service Requests (CSRs). You will also be responsible for managing various work queues, ensuring timely processing of inquiries and tasks. Document management is another critical aspect, requiring adherence to specific naming conventions for renaming, organizing, and uploading files.
Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines is paramount. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a life science or healthcare-related field, and have at least two years of experience in data entry or healthcare operations, ideally within a US healthcare setting. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a significant advantage.
We are looking for individuals with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Prior experience with patient support programs, insurance verification, or specialty pharmacy processes is a plus.
Technical requirements for this remote role include a Windows OS laptop/desktop with a minimum 14-inch screen and FHD resolution, an Intel i5 processor or higher, at least 8GB of RAM, and a stable internet connection of 100 MBPS or higher. The required software for secure access is AnyDesk. The shift timings are from 7 PM to 4 AM IST, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
- Process inbound faxes, emails, and web form submissions by creating or updating patient, provider, and facility accounts in Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Verify patient details using three HIPAA identifiers (e.g., name, DOB, address, phone, zip code) before linking documents.
- Create and update Clinical Service Requests (CSRs) for patient enrollment, support, or voucher cases.
- Record and update patient consents, prescriptions, insurance details, and disease state information.
- Manage queues such as Inbound Fax Queue, ARxDrugReferral Queue, and General Inquiry (Web & Email to Case).
- Ensure proper assignment of cases and tasks to Patient Navigators, including “New Document Received” and “Patient Welcome Call” tasks.
- Rename, organize, and upload documents consistently following UT Cares naming conventions.
- Communicate discrepancies or incomplete documentation to leadership and escalate when required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field a plus).
- 2+ years of data entry or healthcare operations experience, preferably in a US healthcare process.
- Experience with Salesforce (Health Cloud) or similar CRM systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow structured processes.
- Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience with patient support programs, insurance verification, or specialty pharmacy processes is a plus.
