About the Role
Airbnb is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor for our Community Support team in Gurugram, India. In this role, you will lead a team of dedicated specialists who deliver world-class support to Airbnb’s global community of hosts and guests. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Quality, Compliance, Training, and Workforce Management to drive operational excellence and foster career growth within your team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, your daily activities will revolve around team leadership, performance management, and strategic execution. You will be responsible for:
- Guiding and mentoring team members to achieve and exceed key performance metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Ownership.
- Managing day-to-day administrative duties including scheduling, shift approvals, and conducting regular one-on-one and team meetings.
- Analyzing performance data to identify trends, uncover root causes of issues, and implement process improvements.
- Acting as the voice of the customer by identifying product and policy improvement opportunities based on user feedback.
- Handling escalated customer issues and spending at least one hour per week working directly on support tickets to stay connected with the customer experience.
Who You Are

- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a customer support or operations environment.
- A proven track record of managing individual contributors and coaching them on time management, project basics, and impact optimization.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights (experience with MySQL or Superset is a plus).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively.
- The flexibility to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment from our Gurugram office.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience leading as a supervisor in a customer support environment.
- Graduation from a recognized AICTE university.
- Comfortable with flexible shift timings (24*7 shifts) and working from the Gurugram office.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to tell a story with data.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
