Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Management: Initiate and manage the process of raising purchase requisitions and processing purchase orders for IT hardware, software, and services.
• Procurement Lifecycle Tracking: Monitor the entire procurement lifecycle, including tracking renewals of contracts and licenses, and managing contract processing.
• Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, following up on pending requests, deliveries, and issue resolution.
• Cost Optimization: Maintain detailed pricing comparisons for IT assets and services to support cost optimization decisions and identify potential savings.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with IT, finance, and legal teams to ensure all procurement activities meet company policies and obtain necessary approvals.
• Basic Technical Support: Provide essential Level 1 (L1) desktop and technical support to end-users, addressing common IT issues and escalating complex problems as needed.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT assets, processes, and vendor agreements, ensuring timely execution of tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT procurement, IT support, or a related administrative role within an IT department.
• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• IT Procurement & Vendor Management: Proven experience and understanding of IT procurement processes and effective vendor management strategies.
• Oracle Fusion: Basic working knowledge of Oracle Fusion for procurement and finance modules is highly desirable.
• IT Infrastructure Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure components, devices, and basic networking concepts.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for data analysis, tracking, and reporting. Strong skills in other MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) are also preferred.
