Role Overview: Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the comprehensive accounting of all business transactions for FRANK’s central service company. This role requires a hands-on approach to financial accounting, active participation in closing processes, and a proactive attitude towards process improvement and digitalization.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Processing ongoing financial accounting for the main company, including recording, posting, and verifying business transactions, and clarifying open items.
• Ensuring reliable payment transactions through independent execution of payment runs and bank reconciliations.
• Contributing actively to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, managing specific areas of responsibility, and ensuring clear documentation.
• Collaborating closely with the team and internal/external stakeholders during annual closing procedures.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the accounting department and implementing practical solutions.
• Participating in projects aimed at developing and transforming finance and accounting functions, including process optimization, standardization, digitalization, automation, and the use of AI.
• Contributing expertise during internal and external audits to ensure structured and transparent collaboration.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of several years of professional experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Ideally, a completed advanced qualification such as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or equivalent.
• Solid experience in ongoing financial accounting, including payment transactions, account reconciliations, and managing open items.
• Proven experience in contributing to monthly and annual financial statements, with the ability to manage assigned tasks independently and meticulously.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a high degree of personal responsibility, coupled with a team-oriented approach and effective communication with various interfaces.
• A proactive mindset towards questioning and improving existing processes.
• A keen interest in digitalization, automation, and emerging technologies within the accounting field.
