Essential Points

• Only recognised boards will be accepted.

Salary / Stipend

• 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
• 2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month
• 3rd Year: ₹36,500 per month
• 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month
• Seva Nidhi Package: Approx. ₹10.04 Lakhs after 4 years
• Life Insurance: ₹48 Lakhs
• No pension, gratuity or PF benefit.

Selection Process

Phase-I: Online Test

• Objective type exam (English & Hindi).
• Science: Physics, Maths & English – 60 minutes.
• Non-Science: English + Reasoning & General Awareness – 45 minutes.
• Both: 85 minutes total.
• Marking: +1 correct, −0.25 wrong, 0 unattempted.

Phase-II: Physical & Adaptability Tests

• Document Verification.
• PFT-I: 1.6 km run (Male 7 min / Female 8 min).
• PFT-II (Male): Push-ups, Sit-ups, Squats.
• PFT-II (Female): Sit-ups, Squats.
• Adaptability Test-I & Test-II.

Phase-III: Medical Test

• Medical examination as per IAF standards.
• Appeal Medical Board available (₹40 fee).

General Instructions

• Only unmarried male & female candidates are eligible.
• Marriage or pregnancy during service will lead to discharge.
• Minimum height 152 cm (relaxation for some regions).
• No LASIK/PRK surgery allowed.
• Limited body tattoos allowed as per rules.
• Drug use strictly prohibited.
• Engagement period is 4 years.
• Up to 25% candidates may be selected for regular cadre.
• No Ex-Servicemen status after completion.
• AADHAAR Card mandatory.
• No TA/DA will be paid.
• Mobile phones not allowed during exam.
• Any malpractice will lead to permanent ban.

How To Fill Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027 Recruitment 2026 Form

• Applications are accepted only through online mode. Candidates must visit the official website iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in to apply.
• Step 1: Complete the initial registration by entering personal and contact details. The registered email ID will act as the user ID, and login credentials will be sent via email/SMS.
• Step 2: Log in again to fill in personal information, communication details, educational qualifications, declarations, and upload the required documents.
• Verify the application using OTP sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
• Carefully review all entered details before final submission.

Documents to be uploaded:

• Recent passport-size colour photograph in JPG/JPEG format (100–200 KB), taken within the last one month, holding a black slate with name and date
• Candidate’s signature image in black ink on white paper (80–150 KB)
• Parent/Guardian’s signature (for candidates below 18 years)
• Left thumb impression image (50–100 KB)
• Live photograph capture through webcam during registration
• Pay the examination fee of 550 + 18% GST online using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
• After successful submission, download and keep a printout of the application form for future reference.

Important Instructions:

• A valid email ID and mobile number are mandatory for registration.
• Candidates should apply only once; multiple applications will be rejected.
• Details entered during registration are final and cannot be modified later.
• Submitted applications cannot be withdrawn.
• Applicants are advised to complete registration at the earliest, as no extension of the last date will be provided.
• Admit cards will be issued 48–72 hours before the examination on the registered email ID.
