ISRO ISTRAC Technician, Technical Assistant and More Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 26 Vacancies

• Scanned copy of recent passport-size photograph.
• Scanned copy of candidate’s signature.
• Matriculation/SSC/SSLC Certificate (for Date of Birth proof).
• ITI/NTC/NAC Certificate and Marksheets (for Technician/Draughtsman posts).
• Diploma/B.Sc./Master’s Degree Certificates and Consolidated Marksheets (for Assistant posts).
• Experience Certificate from an established hotel/canteen (specifically for Cook-A post).
• Caste/Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) in the prescribed Government of India format, if applicable.
• Disability Certificate (PwBD) in the prescribed format, if applicable.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) if already employed in Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies.

• Technician-B (Electronics Mechanic / Carpenter): SSC/SSLC/Matriculation pass plus ITI/NTC/NAC in the respective trade (Electronics Mechanic, Carpenter, etc.) from NCVT.
• Draughtsman-B (Civil / Mechanical): SSLC/Matriculation pass plus ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Civil/Mechanical) trade from NCVT.
• Technical Assistant (Electronics / Mechanical): First Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized State Board.
• Scientific Assistant (Computer Science / Mathematics): First Class B.Sc. degree with Computer Science or Mathematics as the main subject from a recognized University/Institution.
• Library Assistant ‘A’: First Class Graduate degree plus First Class Master’s degree in Library Science / Library and Information Science or equivalent.
• Cook-A: SSLC/SSC pass or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook in a well-established hotel or canteen (experience certificates from individuals are not accepted).

Phase I: Written Test

• Candidates whose applications are found in order will be called for a Written Test.
• The written test will assess the candidate’s core domain knowledge, technical skills, and general aptitude.
• Minimum qualifying marks will be applicable as per ISRO norms for different categories.

Phase II: Skill Test / Trade Test

• Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in a prescribed ratio (usually 1:5).
• The Skill Test is purely go/no-go (qualifying) in nature and will test practical hands-on skills related to the trade/discipline.
• For the Cook-A post, a practical cooking test will be conducted to evaluate culinary skills.

Phase III: Document Verification & Medical Examination

• Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents for verification.
• Final selection is subject to clearing the medical fitness standards prescribed by ISRO.

4. Register yourself by providing a valid email address and active mobile number to generate your login credentials.
5. Log in with your registered credentials and fill out the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and experience details.
6. Select the appropriate post code and carefully verify the designated posting location for that vacancy.
7. Upload high-quality scanned copies of your photograph, signature, educational certificates, and experience/caste certificates (if applicable).
8. Review all the entered details in the application preview page to ensure there are no errors.
9. Submit the application form online before the closing date of 20 July 2026 (05:00 PM).
