JAC Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test JHTET Recruitment 2026: Apply Online

• Scanned copy of recent passport-size photograph.
• Scanned copy of candidate’s signature.
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport).
• Educational Qualification Certificates & Marksheets (10th, 12th, Graduation, B.Ed/D.El.Ed).
• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) if applicable.
• Domicile Certificate (for Jharkhand state reservation benefits).
• Disability Certificate (if applying under PH/PwD category).

• Primary Level (Class 1-5):
  • 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
  • 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002.
  • 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
• Junior Level (Class 6-8):
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed./L.T./Shiksha Shastri).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. in accordance with NCTE Regulations.
  • 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
  • Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks and a 3-year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

Phase I: Written Examination (Paper I & Paper II)

• Paper I: Mandatory for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5.
• Paper II: Mandatory for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8.
• Candidates can choose to appear for either Paper I, Paper II, or both papers depending on their eligibility.

Phase II: Document Verification

• Successful candidates who clear the cut-off marks will be called for document verification.
• Verification of original academic certificates, professional qualifications (B.Ed/D.El.Ed), and category certificates.

Phase III: Award of JHTET Certificate

• Qualified candidates will be awarded the JHTET Eligibility Certificate, which is essential for applying to teacher recruitment drives in Jharkhand.

1. Visit the official Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) JHTET application portal at https://jactetonline.com/.
2. Click on the “New Registration” link and fill in your basic details like Name, Email, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.
3. Log in using the registration credentials sent to your registered email and mobile number.
4. Fill out the detailed application form, selecting your preferred paper (Paper I, Paper II, or Both) and filling in educational qualifications.
5. Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and other required documents in the prescribed format.
6. Preview the application form carefully to ensure all details are correct before final submission.
7. Proceed to the payment gateway to pay the application fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or offline mode.
8. After successful payment, download and print the final submitted application form and fee receipt for future reference.
