Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive medical monitoring support for contracted clinical trials in accordance with sponsor agreements and timelines.
- Review and contribute to the development of clinical protocols, investigator brochures, safety plans, and informed consent forms.
- Provide therapeutic area training to internal study teams and external investigators.
- Act as the Global or Regional Lead Physician, coordinating medical oversight across project teams.
- Provide medical input into pharmacovigilance workflows, including the medical review of serious adverse events (SAEs).
- Support business development initiatives by providing medical expertise during pre-award and client proposal stages.
- Offer strategic consultancy to clients on drug development programs and clinical trial design.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Medical qualification (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
- Minimum of 5 years of active clinical practice experience.
- Specialization or board certification in Neurology or Psychiatry with up-to-date clinical knowledge.
- Prior experience as a medical monitor within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical company.
- Solid understanding of the drug development process, clinical trial operations, and safety reporting regulations.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage clinical or medical professionals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
