Key Responsibilities
- Support high-throughput, pre-formulation, pre-qualification, robustness, and admixture testing workflows.
- Perform precise analysis of biological samples, reporting results and maintaining meticulous documentation in accordance with established methods, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage laboratory samples and monitor controlled temperature storage units to ensure sample integrity.
- Adhere strictly to all applicable laboratory safety, hygiene, and biosafety protocols, including the proper use of Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) cabinets and hoods.
- Prepare accurate reagents, including complex dilutions, chemical solutions, buffers, and mobile phases.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation to minimize laboratory downtime.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional scientific teams to meet project milestones and client deliverables.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must possess a B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or a closely related life sciences discipline.
- Minimum experience: B.S. with 3 to 5 years of relevant laboratory experience, or M.S. with 1 to 2 years of experience in an analytical chemistry or biologics testing laboratory.
- Must have hands-on experience with separations for large molecules or plate-based assays.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing biologics (such as monoclonal antibodies or therapeutic proteins) using at least one of the following: HPLC/UPLC, SEC, IEX, AEX, CEX, HIC, CE-SDS, cIEF, ELISA, or qPCR.
- Ability to follow complex scientific protocols and execute precise reagent preparations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the client facility in Rahway, NJ.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
