Job Overview

About the Role

Parexel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply & Logistics Coordinator (SLC) or Senior Supply & Logistics Coordinator (SrSLC) to join our global clinical trial supply team in Argentina. This remote position plays a critical role in supporting the development and execution of study-specific supply chain strategies. The coordinator ensures that complex clinical logistics projects are set up and executed seamlessly, adhering to strict timelines, budgets, and quality standards. By managing the sourcing and distribution of clinical trial supplies, you will directly contribute to the successful delivery of life-saving therapies to patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities and Project Planning

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks spanning project planning, execution, and quality control. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define material specifications, manage lead times, and coordinate local authorizations. Key accountabilities include:

  • Supply Chain Strategy: Supporting the development of project-specific supply chain, sourcing, and distribution strategies.
  • Forecasting & Simulation: Utilizing advanced tools for supply chain simulation and forecasting to plan and monitor inventory levels accurately.
  • System Maintenance: Setting up and maintaining inventory management systems (e.g., IVRS, IPtrack) and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with the e-Logistics team.
  • Vendor Coordination: Developing supply schedules, providing feedback to depots, and managing relationships with third-party logistics vendors.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all activities comply with applicable SOPs, GxP guidelines, and local licensing regulations for medical devices and investigational medicinal products (IMPs).

Quality Assurance and Client Satisfaction

At Parexel, quality is at the heart of everything we do. As a Supply & Logistics Coordinator, you will actively manage quality issues, implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and prepare for audits and inspections. You will also play a key role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively engaging with internal and external clients to improve solutions, manage expectations, and avoid crisis situations. Senior coordinators will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and drive continuous process optimization across the department.

Why Join Parexel?

Parexel offers a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment where your professional growth is prioritized. As a global clinical research organization (CRO), we provide our employees with the tools, training, and flexibility needed to succeed. This remote role in Argentina allows you to balance your personal life while making a meaningful impact on global health. You will have access to career development programs, peer mentorship, and the chance to work with a diverse, multinational team of experts dedicated to putting patients first.

Detailed Operational Execution

In this role, operational excellence is paramount. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of clinical trial materials, including the purchasing, packaging, labeling, distribution, return, and eventual destruction of both IMP (Investigational Medicinal Product) and Non-IMP supplies. This requires a deep understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and cold chain logistics. You will also handle product complaints following strict GxP guidelines, ensuring any deviations are documented and resolved swiftly. By maintaining a clear line of communication with Clinical Supply Leaders (CSLs) and regional peers, you will help mitigate risks such as stock-outs or delivery delays, ensuring clinical trial sites remain fully equipped to support patient visits without interruption.
