About the CEE Sales Team
The Central Eastern Europe (CEE) team comprises highly consultative sales professionals dedicated to fostering the growth of Stripe’s most significant clients within the region. We collaborate with some of the world’s most ambitious and rapidly expanding companies, such as Booksy, Maczfit, and ElevenLabs. By leveraging Stripe’s payments and financial infrastructure, these businesses unlock new revenue streams and accelerate their growth trajectories.
Role Overview: Account Executive, Hunter (Central Eastern Europe)
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle. This includes prospecting for new business, closing deals, nurturing existing client relationships, and identifying avenues for expanding Stripe’s presence within current accounts. We are specifically seeking an individual capable of executing long-term sales strategies, engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, aligning technical and business requirements with product teams, demonstrating value in competitive environments, leading commercial negotiations, and successfully closing agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with new and existing Stripe customers to devise and implement long-term sales strategies aimed at increasing Stripe’s revenue.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial business case development through deal structuring, negotiation, and final closure.
- Take ownership of a named account list and formulate strategic account plans to win and expand business with high-growth technology companies.
- Develop and execute outbound strategies to generate and cultivate sales opportunities.
- Lead deal strategy and manage commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals.
- Cultivate strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders within your assigned portfolio of business.
- Be responsible for account mapping and orchestrating effective meetings with relevant external stakeholders to broaden customer relationships.
- Lead and contribute to team projects focused on refining our sales processes and shaping the Stripe sales culture.
Who We Are Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years of sales experience, ideally selling highly technical products to enterprise clients, with a proven record of top performance.
- The ability to comprehend technical requirements and formulate solutions across multiple product lines.
- Capability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans that span multiple business units within complex organizations.
- A natural aptitude for collaborating effectively with a diverse range of individuals, both internally and externally.
- Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person engagements with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex negotiations involving customized commercial agreements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, along with proficiency in either Polish or Romanian.
- The ability to thrive and operate effectively in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
- A keen interest in technology and a profound understanding of the technology landscape.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in additional CEE languages would be advantageous.
- Prior experience in the payments industry.
Hybrid Work at Stripe
This role is available either based in one of our offices or in a remote location (defined as being 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office-assigned employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in a given month collaborating in their local office or engaging with users. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration and learning with the flexibility required by individuals and teams. Remote employees are welcome to utilize office facilities for team meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, but the primary expectation is regular work from home. Stripe does not cover relocation costs for remote positions. We encourage applicants to apply for roles in locations where they currently reside or plan to live.
Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position in the primary location is PLN 555,700 – PLN 833,500. This range is subject to change based on the hiring location. For sales roles, the provided range represents the On Target Earnings (OTE), encompassing both target sales commissions/bonuses and the annual base salary. This salary range may accommodate various career levels at Stripe and will be refined during the interview process based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants not located in the primary location can inquire about the relevant salary range during their interviews. Specific benefits and details regarding compensation included within the salary range will vary by location and will be discussed during the interview process. Potential benefits and additional compensation may include equity, company bonuses or sales commissions/bonuses, retirement plans, comprehensive health benefits, and wellness stipends.
