Job Overview
About the Role
Stripe is seeking a founding Data Science Manager for its Risk division, based in Bengaluru, India. The role is pivotal in driving rigorous, data-informed decision-making at scale across Stripe’s Verifications and Greater China workstreams.
Key Pillars of Responsibility
The role is divided into two high-impact pillars:

- Regional Data Craft Lead: As the founding data craft leader in Bengaluru, you will set quality standards, establish community rituals (knowledge sharing, peer reviews), and cultivate a strong local data culture. Over time, this role may evolve into a Center of Excellence (COE) model across multiple product pillars.
Why Join Stripe’s Data Science Team?
Stripe’s financial infrastructure platform processes hundreds of billions of dollars annually.
