Job Overview

Stripe is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Finance & Strategy Partner to join our growing Infrastructure Finance and Strategy team. In this role, you will serve as an integral thought partner to Stripe’s engineering leadership, helping to bring clarity, predictability, and strategic direction to our R&D investments and operating expenses. As Stripe continues to scale its global financial infrastructure, managing the efficiency of our technical investments is paramount to ensuring long-term financial durability.

As a Finance & Strategy Partner for Central Engineering, your primary focus will be on the forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of our rapidly expanding AI investments. This includes managing token spend, engineering headcount, and specialized management tools. You will work cross-functionally across multiple surfaces at Stripe, collaborating closely with data science, engineering, and broader finance teams to deliver continuous improvements in our integrated financial systems and metrics.

  • Strategic Decision Support: Leverage your deep financial background to analyze, evaluate, and influence key business decisions, including foundational investments and business model shifts.
  • Investment ROI & Efficiency: Design and implement rigorous analytical frameworks to measure the efficiency and return on investment (ROI) of both headcount and non-headcount expenses.
