As a People Project Manager, you will play a critical role in working across our People pillars to champion delivery across all impacting projects, programs, and portfolios. You will manage complex initiatives end-to-end or cross-functionally, navigating organizational dynamics with ease and utilizing structured project management methodologies to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
Key Responsibilities and Impact
In this role, you will tackle highly ambiguous and challenging questions with independence and analytical rigor. Your ownership will span from initial problem definition to final strategic recommendation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that all stakeholders remain informed and actively engaged. Additionally, you will monitor project progress, identify potential risks early, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery. Fostering a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the People team is central to this position.
Work Environment and Flexibility
Stripe supports a hybrid work model designed to offer flexibility while maintaining strong team connections. This role is available either in one of our physical office locations, such as Atlanta or Chicago, or as a remote position within the United States (for candidates living 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Whether working in-office or remotely, Stripes are expected to collaborate closely across time zones and maintain high standards of execution.
Compensation, Benefits, and Perks
Stripe offers a highly competitive compensation package. The annual US base salary range for this role is $127,600 to $191,400, depending on experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base salary, Stripe provides robust benefits including:

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications
- Have 7+ years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting, with at least 2 years operating within an HR team at a company.
- A proven track record of navigating complexity and driving results with a balance of urgency and thoughtfulness.
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams like HR, Finance, Legal, Product, Tech and Leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset aimed at informing decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Airtable) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities and a proven track record of building trust and driving alignment across teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
