Key Focus Areas and Impact

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of product, engineering, data, compliance, and operations. Your primary mission is to design and build customer compliance systems that are fast, adaptive, and deeply embedded in the platform’s core architecture. You will be responsible for enabling high-velocity growth while maintaining robust controls, using real-time decisioning and thoughtful product design to eliminate operational friction without compromising on safety. You will help define how compliance operates in a web3 and stablecoin-native world, setting new industry standards for speed and security.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Own the Compliance Control Plane: Define and deliver the unified API and self-service platform that serves as the single source of truth for all large-scale, ongoing compliance program execution. This involves creating robust, scalable systems that can handle millions of transactions seamlessly.
• Drive Operational Autonomy: Lead the strategic shift to enable non-engineering teams to autonomously manage global compliance programs end-to-end, building in guardrails and intelligence to eliminate operational errors and achieve zero unintended business disruptions.
• Maximize Engineering Leverage: Ensure the platform’s architecture and data model are highly accurate and extensible, shifting engineering focus from manual execution and data cleanup to platform innovation and automation across all operational workflows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with legal, compliance operations, risk, and engineering teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into elegant technical solutions. You will act as the bridge between highly technical developers and regulatory experts.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Define and track metrics related to operational efficiency, platform health, and system accuracy to continuously improve the compliance infrastructure. You will use data to identify bottlenecks and proactively address them.
