Understanding the Selection Procedure

The selection process for the URSC Apprentice positions is primarily based on academic merit. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their qualifying Degree or Diploma examinations. The shortlisted candidates will then be called for a Document Verification stage. A final panel will be prepared based on the academic scores of the candidates who successfully clear the document verification. Apprentices will be inducted against the available vacancies strictly in order of their merit in the panel. It is important to note that this is an apprenticeship engagement and does not guarantee future employment with URSC or ISRO.

Stipend and Training Duration

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend during their training period. Graduate Apprentices (B.E./B.Tech.) will be paid a stipend of ₹12,300/- per month. For Technician Apprentices (Diploma) and Commercial Practice Apprentices, the monthly stipend will be ₹10,900/-. The training duration for all apprentices is fixed at 12 months, commencing from the date of execution of the Apprenticeship contract. This period is designed to provide comprehensive hands-on experience and skill development in a professional environment.
